Save backups

Back up your saves before you install a mod, update one or switch profiles. A save made while a mod was on may depend on that mod, and a buggy mod can damage saves. With a backup from before, you can always go back.

The launcher's Saves page does this for you:

• Back up copies all of the game's saves, as they are now, into a new backup.
• Restore brings back the saves of a backup, in place of the saves the game has now. If you might want the current saves again, back them up first.

Close the game before you restore a backup, so that it does not write over the restored saves.

Backups are copies of your own files. They stay on your PC, and removing T3SDK or uninstalling mods does not touch them.
